Shell Gliders
Shell gliders are installed on items such as chairs of all kinds. They serve as the connection between the frame and the floor. Shell gliders come in a wide variety of shapes (e.g., for round or rectangular tubes) with different gliding surfaces (e.g., made of felt, plastic, metal, or Teflon) to provide the optimal solution for each specific application. When used correctly, they prevent damage to both the chair and the floor. Therefore, they are a very important component in the furniture industry.
