When the fitting hinge is closed, the door closes or opens softly and damped, depending on the installation method. It is available in pairs (type 1 and type 2). Type 1 has a grey shaft and the damping works in a clockwise direction. Type 2 has a white shaft and the damping acts anti-clockwise. The function is guaranteed by an opening angle of up to 115°. Please DO NOT use over 115°! This can destroy the internal mechanism. Please use a door stopper to prevent over-rotation beyond the maximum angle. The hinge can be damaged if you push against the door in the damping direction to accelerate the movement. There is no damping effect with a small opening angle. Application in the temperature range 0° to +40°.
