Detent pins are used when a detent position (defined by a detent hole) needs to be precisely restored. The bolt is retracted by pulling it and fixed by holding it. The attached 2 mm thick sheet metal plate with a sleeve projection of 15 mm (optionally to customer-specific dimensions) ensures uncomplicated fastening at the desired position.
