Indexing plungers, also known as locking plungers, are primarily used to fix or release plug connections on machines. The indexing plunger consists of a pull knob, which is used to pull the indexing pin out of the respective counterpart. The knob is pulled out, rotated by 90° and secured by the internal locking notch (if the locking pin must not protrude). The product guarantees a high holding force and a stable and firm fixation as well as uncomplicated handling, which ensures a high level of process reliability during use. Our indexing plungers are particularly robust and durable and are used in mechanical engineering, for example, to secure rotating and swivelling devices or for stop positioning. Thanks to their high-quality workmanship, you can be sure that friction-free functionality in the application is guaranteed. Our indexing plungers can withstand the strongest shear forces. You will find many different designs, dimensions, materials and surfaces in our standard range. We are happy to manufacture other versions on request. The screw-in length can be adjusted using spacer rings. Lock nuts and spacer rings must be ordered separately. The knob is made of thermoplastic PA 6, black, matt. It cannot be dismantled.
